With the latest iOS update, users can now fully customize their iPhone home screens, offering a new level of personalization. Inspired by the simplicity of line art, I found it challenging to source icons that matched the aesthetic I envisioned. Determined to achieve the desired look, I took the initiative to design my own custom icons, creating a unique and cohesive visual experience.

Sketches

To initiate this project, I conducted an in-depth analysis of the mechanics and operational dynamics of an injection molding machine. This comprehensive research involved studying its structural components, motion sequences, and overall functionality to gain a clear understanding of its intricate workings. Leveraging the insights gathered, I meticulously developed detailed sketches to conceptualize the appearance and functionality of each individual component, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the machine's real-world operations. This preparatory work laid the foundation for creating precise and visually accurate 3D models and animations.

3D Modeling and Animation Process

I proceeded to the 3D modeling and animation phase, where I meticulously crafted a detailed and accurate digital representation of the injection molding machine. This phase involved close collaboration with the technical team, engaging in iterative feedback cycles to ensure the modeled and animated machine accurately reflected its real-world functionality and operational dynamics. By continuously refining the design based on expert input, I ensured that the final deliverable met both technical accuracy and visual excellence standards
