Platform Redesign
Client: The Upside

The purpose of this project was to enhance the user experience and interface of a high-end, exclusive digital networking platform, similar to LinkedIn, but with a more selective community. The redesign and rebranding aimed to create a more intuitive, visually appealing, and cohesive brand identity that resonates with its elite user base.


User Personas
I interviewed individuals across a wide spectrum of skill levels and career stages, including entry-level professionals, seasoned executives, and entrepreneurs. Participants came from diverse organizations such as nonprofits, venture capital firms, startups, and large enterprises. This comprehensive approach ensured the personas reflected the unique needs and goals of users from varying industries and roles, enabling me to design a platform that was inclusive, intuitive, and catered to real-world networking dynamics.
Wireframes and Sitemaps
During the wireframing and sitemap phase, I created detailed blueprints outlining the platform’s structure and navigation flow. This involved designing intuitive layouts and mapping out the user journey to ensure a seamless experience.



Brainstorming/Prototyping
The brainstorming and prototype phase of this project, I explored various layouts and design concepts, generating multiple iterations to find the optimal solution. Each layout was rigorously tested and refined based on user feedback, ensuring it met the platform's exclusive and professional standards.
The Upside Mockups
Polished, user-friendly interface that aligned with the platform's elite brand identity. These mockups featured visually appealing design elements, and integrated advanced networking and career growth tools, providing a seamless and engaging user experience.
